It’s taken over a year and a half, but Google’s mobile-first indexing is finally here. The Search Console messages have begun to appear, and sites are steadily being switched over to the mobile-first indexing approach.
Google accounted for 96% of all US mobile organic search visits in the fourth quarter of 2018. Organic search, in general, produced just under 26% of all site visits in Q4 2018, which is a half-point decline from Q3 2018.
SAN JOSE — Bing announced at SMX West Thursday that they are now allowing webmasters to submit up to 10,000 URLs per day through Bing Webmaster Tools. Previously you were able to submit up to 10 URLs per day and maximum of 50 URLs per month.
This is the first part of an in-depth series exploring the new Google Search Console interface and all of the functionality to be found therein. We’ll start with an overview and will proceed by exploring all of the sections of the tool.
