Websites questions, answered short
Should I redesign or rebuild my website?
If the content and structure work but the site looks dated, a redesign may be enough. If it is slow at its core, hard to update or on an old platform, a rebuild usually costs less over time.
Will a new website hurt my Google rankings?
Not if the move is planned. Map every old URL to its new one, keep the content that ranks, and check redirects and indexing for the weeks after launch.
How fast should my website load?
Aim for the main content to appear in under 2.5 seconds on a phone, which is Google's own mark for a good experience. Speed affects rankings, ad costs and how many visitors stay.
